Both of these scenarios have major issues. RTA cabinets come in a thin flat box and require you to put them together causing extra costs and frustration. Those types of cabinets use imported low quality woods (some are composites) and inferior fastening members to hold the front, top, sides, and back together. After you assemble their RTA cabinet boxes you assemble the drawers, mount doors, etc. Many of homeowners that buy from KitchenPlace want to avoid the pitfalls of budget priced RTA imports, they want a durable upgrade. When you add the cost of import tariffs, assembling RTA cabinets at your location, lack of durable mechanical joints, you will find KitchenPlace to be a much better option.
